What power supply is required for a commercial freezer trailer?

Freezer units require a steady power source. They run on a standard 13A domestic 3-pin socket or a 16A C-form plug. For off-grid sites, we recommend a 5KVA generator to handle the compressor start-up.

Can a freezer trailer be parked on uneven ground?

Yes. All Frostbite Refrigeration trailers have the ability to stand and be adjusted to meet the site, ensuring your freezer remains level and the heavy-duty doors seal correctly on gravel, grass, or slopes.

Absolutely. All our mobile chillers and freezers are calibrated to ensure strict compliance with FSA food safety guidelines for both chilled and frozen storage.

We insure the trailer and the cooling plant, but the contents must be insured by your business. We suggest notifying your insurer that you are using a temporary freezer unit.

Yes. We offer full, half, or no racking options. For freezers, racking is often preferred to allow for better air circulation around frozen crates and boxes.
